"Lighthouse"
This is the tower at the peak of Mt. Greylock. Originally the tower was intended for the Boston Harbor. Inside the tower is a narrow black spiral staircase. From the top of the tower observers can look several hundred miles to the east across Massachusetts, and several hundred miles to the west across parts of New York.

Great photos. That tower may be the coolest thing I've ever seen. How far is Adams, MA from Amherst? How long does it take to climb Mt. Greylock?
